"Hello. I'd like to know if you're aware of any RPGs that criticize a specific religion, particularly regarding how childhood is framed within it. For example, I don't know about Mormons, but I do know that Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) heavily repress their children. Do you think games like "Stuffed Guardians" would be a good system to use? *

*There's a video where a JW child has to throw a "magic toy" called "Sparlock, the Warrior Wizard" in the trash."

In reply to <a href="https://gamewardbound.com/yucatan-solo-play/#comment-9509">Laurent</a>.

I appreciate your thoughts. This one personally fell completely flat for me as a game, from its confusing rules and rather terrible solo mode, to the surprisingly graphic artwork I wasn't prepared for. Some games have themes that are disquieting in a way that encourages thoughtful reflection, yet this one felt like it had layers of frustration that prevented me from engaging with the theme beyond the superficial artwork and basic mechanics. Thanks for stopping by!
