In reply to <a href="https://gamewardbound.com/knights-of-underbed-and-threadbare-rpg-comparison/#comment-461">Nah Brah.</a>.

I'm sorry you see this as paid advertising, but I have no affiliation with anyone involved nor did I receive any paid compensation for this comparison. One RPG seemed to resonate with me more than the other, although I look forward to playing them both!

There aren't a lot of RPGs within this realm, and I appreciate each for what it is. Although the general characters are similar, there are a lot of differences. I certainly prefer one over the other, yet that's more for my own solo play.

My comparison isn't perfect and was written from my own point of view. This is my honest assessment and is in no way designed to attack anyone. I'm far behind in playing RPGs, yet I still own both books and plan to try out both systems someday. Maybe my opinion will change at that point, as it so often does.

So you pan Knights of Underbed in multiple paragraphs, dedicating a majority of your review to the negative of the series for being too dark but praise Threadbare for the exact same reason? I'm not sure whether to see this as a Pro vs Con of the two or a paid for attack on Ben Woerner & Co. Because it doesnt come off as honest reviewing but paid-for advertising...
