There are so many excellent moments in the game! And I've done the same thing with intending to go in one direction, only to figure out ages later that I went in the exact opposite direction. Ha ha! Hope you continue to have a wonderful time playing the game and exploring all it has to offer!

Played three times alone so far and one time with my wife with bending the rules, so our characters started in the same location.
Next time we split since she now knows how the game works. 😁

Second run alone I set all the markers to different spots, making my own kind of flair.
I laughed out so loud when you want to help someone and mess up so hard. A sentient asked me to help them and we had to go east... I took us west. (I'm not a native speaker, so that excuses it a little bit at least? XD) And so the Sentient and I ended up running through the main city for an hour till I found the way back. In the time I flirted with them and it was so sad to say goodbye. (Next time, I will bend the rules narratively for sure in such an instance.)

I bet you have already done it in the mean time, but in case you did not, do the master task on the player card. So worth it. 👌

In reply to <a href="https://gamewardbound.com/vantage-solo-recurring-starting-locations/#comment-9307">Dave Daffin</a>.

Thank you very much, Dave! I'm keeping the standard victory conditions in mind as I play, but currently am sort of settling on natural story end points... I think I've managed a lot of technical losses, yet those still feel like wins in their own senses. Good luck exploring!
